Free and continuously accessible; content can change during the school year. Middle- and high-school learners, graduates, teachers and parents
Open guide →The free catalogue is continuously available; course count and currency can change. Learners seeking digital, programming, data and cybersecurity skills
Open guide →The free digital publication is updated continuously; calls and competitions are periodic. Young people interested in science news, experiments and science content
Open guide →The e-archive and interactive sections are accessible; monthly themes change. Primary-age children, families and teachers
Open guide →Ankara University and TÜBA portals are accessible; each course must be checked for currency. Learners who want to sample a field or study independently for free
Open guide →An evergreen method page; links and platform conditions should be checked quarterly. Learners and families seeking a structured route without paid courses or hardware
Open guide →| Gate | Question | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Eligibility | Do age, grade, location and status fit? | Current call |
| Learning | Which real artefact or skill will develop? | Learner artefact |
| Sustainability | Are time, travel and total load manageable? | Weekly plan |
| Safety | How are data, health and child safety protected? | Consent and official channel |
Week 1 covers sources and eligibility, Week 2 a mini artefact, Week 3 feedback and safety, Week 4 a second version and application file.
Without an open call, the board prepares for the future; with an open call, add exact deadlines and owners.
The 6 free learning resource entries in this centre do not serve the same purpose. For example, Using MEBİ, the Free Individual Learning Platform and Choosing and Completing Free BTK Academy Courses differ in age, preparation time, individual/team work and expected evidence. Sorting cards only by open or closed status is therefore insufficient.
Choose three candidates for a comparison exercise: Using MEBİ, the Free Individual Learning Platform, Choosing and Completing Free BTK Academy Courses, Learning Science for Free with TÜBİTAK Bilim Genç. For each, record eligibility, weekly time, travel or internet needs, required learner work, data-safety risks and post-application obligations. Do not punish an unknown field with a zero score; mark it to be verified.
In a second round, record the learner's genuine preference in a separate column. An opportunity that looks strong to an adult should not score highly if it relies on an unwanted mode of work, intensive travel or an unsustainable time burden. Learner preference also does not override official eligibility and safety.
Reopen the centre at month end. Update changed opportunities, carry closed calls into next-year preparation and select completed artefacts for the portfolio. The centre then operates as a monthly decision and production board rather than a random link list.
MEBİ, BTK Academy, Bilim Genç, Bilim Çocuk and open-course portals serve different learning tasks. MEBİ fits school subjects and exam preparation; BTK Academy structured digital-skills courses; Bilim Genç current science reading and experiments; Bilim Çocuk age-appropriate curiosity and observation; university open courses sampling real academic difficulty.
Instead of forcing one platform to meet every need, choose the source through the weekly goal. Use MEBİ for concept gaps, BTK Academy and open source for building, Bilim Genç for science questions and open courses for testing a university field. The number of resources matters less than independent evidence produced for one goal.
Every free route should close the month with an artefact: an explanation, code, data table, experiment note, model, visual guide or solved problem. Re-explain the artefact one week later without the source. Content that cannot be recalled or transferred to a new situation is not complete.
By checking date, call/guide version and application screen together on the official site.
Do not guess; mark it to be verified and ask the institution.

No; keep exact time, time zone, upload method and confirmation.
